Bengaluru: Two labourers who were working in a big storm water drain near B.G. Garden in Pulkeshi Nagar died on the spot after the concrete wall of a house came down on them on Saturday evening.
The deceased have been identified as Sudarshan and Rafeek, both hailing from Chhattisgarh.
According to the police, they were working for BBMP on contract and the incident took place at around 6 pm.
Both Sudarshan and Rafeek died on the spot, while four others were injured.
The police said that the labourers were not provided any safety gear. The bodies were shifted to Bowring Hospital for post-mortem. The Pulkeshi Nagar police have registered a case.
