Telangana: Two girls end life after Inter results
Hyderabad: Intermediate results declared on Friday continued to take toll on the students even on the second day. One girl committed suicide as she could not score expected marks at Mahabubnagar district, while one more girl committed suicide in the city after she failed in one paper.
On Friday, five students including four girls ended their lives, while one boy committed suicide a day before fearing of failure. D. Mamata(18), from Karni village in Makthal mandal in Mahabubnagar district has completed Intermediate I year in MPC group from a private college in Mahabubnagar town. She scored 435 out of 470 marks in the results declared yesterday. Though her parents consoled her, she continued the same. On Saturday morning, while her parents were away for work, she hanged herself to the ceiling fan hook and committed suicide. Mamata left a suicide note stating that she could not score the expected marks and sought apology from her parents. In another incident at Keesara, Likhitha Sri, 16, hanged herself at her residence.
