US Consulate to operate out of its Nanakramguda office from March 20

Hyderabad: The US Consulate, which had been based at Paigah Palace for over 14 years, stated on Wednesday that it has officially ended its consular services from the current facility in Begumpet and will relocate to its new state-of-the-art consulate complex at Nanakramguda in Hyderabad's financial district on March 20.

The U.S. consular services will re-open for regular operations at its new facility in Nanakramguda at 8.30 am from March 20. “Today we lowered the U.S. flag at Paigah Palace for the last time. It's been an amazing 14 years here and we're excited to open a new chapter in the U.S.-India partnership at our new facility in Nanakramguda," tweeted US Consul General in Hyderabad Jennifer Larson on Wednesday.

According to a press release, the US citizens who require emergency consular services until March 20 should call +91 040 4033 8300, and starting at 8:30 a.m. on March 20, they can reach the consulate on +91 040 6932 8000. Visa applicants, who have a visa interview scheduled on or after March 23, should visit the US Consulate’s new facility in Nanakramguda.
