Nellore: About 50 security sleuths from the seven sectors of TTD services were felicitated by Chief Vigilance and Security Officer A. Ravikrishna on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion in his chambers in TTD Administrative Building at Tirupati, the CV&SO said that the security personnel had showcased their skill in nabbing miscreants while discharging their duties in their respective sectors.
Stressing that the programme was meant to encourage the workforce, Mr Ravikrishna said that he will foresee the same spirit from them in future too. He said the installation of closed circuit TV cameras has been going on at a brisk pace as part of the first phase to enhance security at Tirumala. He appealed to pilgrims to contact vigilance officials through landline numbers 0877-226395, 2263828 or 2233333 to complain against overcharging at hotels in Tirumala. Additional CV&SO Sivakumar Reddy, VSO Ravindra Reddy, all sector AVSOs were present.
