TIRUNELVELI: The Mega food park to be established in Gangaikondan in Tirunelveli district is expected to give a fillip to farming in the district, which is primarily agriculture oriented with more than 50 per cent of its population depend on farming.
Welcoming the announcement made by the State Finance minister, O. Panneerselvam in his budgetary speech on Friday, Bahirathan a farmer from Ambasamudram said, “the mega food park if established would help farmers market their products easily.”
