Kochi: Private bus owners in the state were unhappy with the “meagre” increase in bus fare announced by the state government on Wednesday charging that the “hike for namesake” would make no major impact on revenue.
The Bus Owners Joint Coordination Committee has convened an urgent meeting in Kochi on Thursday to decide on future course of action, mainly on whether to resort to an indefinite strike.
