KOZHIKODE: Kozhikode district continues to be rocked by the BJP-CPM violence ever since the hartal organised by the Sabarimala Karma Samiti on January 3. In the latest incident, the house of CPM worker P.V. Sath-yan at Aavithaaremmal near Ayanikad, Payyoli, was targeted at 12 midnight on Monday.
Three window panes and concrete ceiling were damaged when three alleged BJP men, who came on a motorcycle, threw a bomb at the bedroom when Sathyan and his wife were sitting in the front portion of the house. The Payyoli police arrested Senthil, 21, Abhi-manyu, 23, and Aksh-ay, 21, all BJP workers at Ayani-kad within hours of the incident. The police acted swiftly as the family members of Sathyan provided clues about the assailants.
