Vijayawada: The Chief Minister has asked officials to invite local professionals, town planners, architects and eminent personalities for the Amaravati Deep Dive Workshop. He also asked them to ensure Amaravati is highlighted as the best city with solutions to glitches found in other cities.
The CM allocated land for the establishment of six schools. Dr Sreedhar Cherukuri, the Commissioner of the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) said that MoUs had been signed and the construction of Chinmaya Mission, Podar International, Glendale Academy, Ryan International, Scottish High International and Heritage would begin soon.
Speaking to the media, Dr P. Narayana, minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development said that the designs would be placed in the public domain for two days, and the CM would review the public opinion. In response to opposition members queries regarding the delay in finalisation of designs, the minister said, “We have enough funds to build the capital. There is no need to worry.”
