Demonetisation: Siddipet district to be cashless soon, says K Chandrasekhar Rao

Hyderabad: After the successful implementation of cashless payments system in a village in Siddipet district, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said the project would be implemented in the entire Siddipet Assembly constituency. This will be followed by Siddipet district and the entire state.

Speaking at a meeting with ministers, government officers and representatives of 12 banks at his residence on Tuesday, Mr Rao said 4,000 card swipe machines were required to switch to cashless mode in the constituency.

He directed officials to open bank accounts for everyone in Siddipet and provide them with debit cards. He asked RTC to introduce swipe machines in all buses.
