Hyderabad: All India Bank Employees’ Association (AIBEA) and Bank Officers’ Association (AIBOA) will jointly hold a demonstration on Wednesday to highlight demonetisation problems being faced by bank employees.
Secretary for the Bank Employees Federation for A.P. and Telangana M.S. Kumar said that the demonstration would be organised in front of the Reserve Bank of India in Gun Foundry. “Staff from all banks will participate in the demonstration scheduled at 1pm,” he said.
Earlier, AIBEA general secretary C.H. Venkatachalam and AIBOA general secretary S. Nagarajan said in a joint statement that the move is to seek adequate supply of cash to banks from the RBI as well as details of currency supplied to banks. All bank employees and officers would participate in the protest.
