24-hours non-stop Makeathon in Warangal

The world is shifting towards Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0, says Sreedevi Devireddy.

Warangal: A 24-hour non-stop Makeathon was conducted by IESA in SR Innovation Exchange, wherein participants were given inputs and were encouraged to build products in 24 hours.

Makeathon is an IESA initiative to enable the creative minds and out-of-the-box thinkers in India to drive technological innovation for the semiconductor and electronic systems industry in India.

Speaking on the occasion CEO of SR innovation exchange (SRiX) Sreedevi Devireddy said, “The world is shifting towards Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0. This paradigm shift is creating the need for smart, sustainable, low-cost and efficient solutions for industry and for life in general. SRiX is on a mission to create an innovation culture in Academic institutions.”

Few industry mentors and Faculty of Mechanical and EEE Department of SR Engineering College guided the participants, she added.

Mr Srinath Devireddy, founder of Adroitent Ventures, said, “I am amazed at the selection of problems that the teams wanted to solve in the fields of agriculture, waste management etc. It was great to see young Entrepreneur’s prototyping AI and IoT-based solutions to solve real-world problems that have a tremendous social impact.”
