Plaint against netizen for slur against K Chandrashekar Rao on FB

Police said that they are verifying the contents of the complaint.

Hyderabad: A complaint has been lodged against a netizen at Chaderghat police station for posting defamatory comments on Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

The cops are yet to book a case in regards to the complaint. Mr Wasim Ali, TRS division president from Azampura in the Old city in his complaint stated that while browsing Facebook, he came across a post by one ‘Ramakrishna Akuthota’, in which the user had posted a video of the Chief Minister’s recent Assembly speech and also commented on the video using vulgar language. “ This is nothing but hurting sentiments of the people of Telangana. Strict action should be taken against the person,” said Mr Ali.

Police said that they are verifying the contents of the complaint. “The complaint has been sent for legal opinion. Once we receive the legal opinion based on that and after verification of the complaint, we will take necessary action.” said Mr G. Sattaiah, inspector, Chaderghat police station.
