GUNTUR: An eight-year-old boy was injured by stray dogs in Pichikalapalem in Savalyapuram of Guntur district on Friday, the latest in a series of such incidents.
The victim, T. Kousik, a Class 3 student. was injured on the face and hands. His parents and locals rescued the boy and rushed him to the Vinukonda government hospital, from where he was brought to the GGH at Guntur. His father T. Seshaiah said the incident occurred when Kousik was returning home from school. On September 21, D. Prem Kumar, 4, was mauled to death by strays Adavitakkellapadu in Guntur. Three days later V.S. Pavan was injured in a similar attack.
