Vijayawada: Priority for 9 hours free power supply
VIJAYAWADA: Minister for energy, forest and environment Balineni Srinivasa Reddy said that the State Government is giving utmost priority for effective implementation of nine-hours’ free power supply during daytime to the agricultural sector which would give a boost to the rural economy and strengthen the farming community and also focus on development of power infrastructure.
The minister said that 9-hours’ free power scheme is the pet project of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and asked the officials to strive hard to make the scheme a role model for the country.
