Hyderabad: MNJ Cancer Institute and Niloufer Hospital are facing regular power cuts that disrupt the functioning of many units.
A doctor said, “Till three years back, the two hospitals never had issues. Of late it is like any other place in the city. The worst hit is the diagnostics centre which is not connected to the generator.”
In the last fortnight, there were four half-hour power cuts during the peak hours of 11.30 am to noon.
The hospital administrations have approached the health secretary and health minister Dr Laxma Reddy but there has not been any relief.
