Hyderabad: Reacting on TS BJP president K. Laxman’s comments regarding family rule in the state, minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Tuesday said: “Yes it is Kalvakuntla government in Telangana”. He said that Mr Rao’s family members were not nominated but had been elected by the people.
Speaking to mediapersons on Tuesday, Mr Yadav asked what was wrong in running a government headed by Mr Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao. He alleged that the BJP was trying to provoke the people because of the TRS’ alliance with the MIM.
The minister asked who was stopping the BJP of it wanted to take on the MIM. “If the BJP wants to strengthen the party in a democratic way, nobody will object.”
He said Mr Rao wanted cordial relations between AP and Telangana states and was taking initiative on sharing of river waters between the two states. To a question, he said the TRS would support the Centre’s plans construct a new Parliament building. The TRS was extending support to the Centre on issues, he said.
