Hyderabad: Rival gang tracks down rowdy, stabs him dead

Five taken into custody for questioning.

Hyderabad: A history-sheeter from the city was killed brutally by a group of men at Shivajinagar in Borabanda on Monday night. The police have taken five persons for questioning and are searching for the other accused.

According to Sanathnagar police, the deceased person, identified as K. Narsing Das Goud (30), was a resident of Tukkuguda, which comes under the jurisdiction of the Pahadishareef police. At around 11 pm on Monday, a group carrying knives and talwars attacked him when he was in Shivajinagar and stabbed him mercilessly.

Soon after receiving this information, a team of police rushed to the spot and found Narsing dead, lying in a pool of blood.

The Clues team and dog squad were called in and some clues were collected.

“It was learnt that the group contained at least 10 persons who were waiting for Narsing and attacked him at one go when he reached RK Society Gas Godown area. Though he tried to escape, they stabbed him to death,” said the police.

“Narsing suffered at least 20 stab injuries to his abdomen, head, and other body parts and died on the spot. After performing the post-mortem examination his body was handed over to his parents and a case of murder was registered for the probe,” said Sanathnagar inspector K. Chandra Shekar Reddy.

He said that based on technical clues and other inputs, five persons who were suspected of having participated in the crime were taken into custody for questioning and special teams have been formed to apprehend the other absconding persons.
