Bengaluru: Members of the state chapter of Jamiat Ulema-I-Hind a leading Islamic organisation in India had organised a peace march from Town Hall to Freedom Park on Sunday in protest against the ‘ongoing systematic and devious designs of the communal forces to change the social and communal fabric in the country.’
The march which was part of a nation wide campaign from the Jamiat, organised across the county, including 13 districts in Karnataka, was to create an atmosphere of communal harmony and brotherhood between different communities.
