Jagan Mohan Reddy claims no one is happy in AP
KURNOOL: YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy claimed that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was concentrating on Nandyal byelection because he had not done anything for the town with no section of society having received any of his government’s benefits.
Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, as part of the election campaign on Sunday, addressed a gathering at Sanjeevnagar in Nandyal town and said the entire cabinet of Mr Naidu was staying at Nandyal. All the ministers were trying to lure the voters distributing to them money and other gifts.
He said, “Ruling party members are trying to scare opposition leaders through police raids on their residences,” Mr Jagan stated.
“Naidu has made several promises but none of them have taken shape even in three and half years of the party rule. Without fulfilling them he is again making false promises and betraying the innocent people,” Mr Reddy said.
He called upon people to think as who is better before casting the vote. “This byelection is a fight against Naidu’s corruption, it is a battle against injustices being meted out against the common man by the TD government,” he said. He said, “every valuable vote will teach a good lesson to Naidu.”
