President Ramnath Kovind on 2-day visit to Tirumala temples

The Governor accompanied the President during his visit to the two temples.

Tirupati: President Ramnath Kovind, who is on a two-day pilgrimage to Tirumala, has offered prayers at the local temples of Goddess Padmavathi Devi in Tiruchanoor and Lord Kapileswara Swamy in Tirupati on Saturday.

The President was received at Renigunta airport by Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan, AP Chief Minister Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy and several other officials.

The Governor accompanied the President during his visit to the two temples.

At Tiruchanoor, TTD chairman Y.V. Subba Reddy, EO Anil Kumar Singhal and JEO P. Basanth Kumar received the President. He was welcomed with the traditional Poorna Kumbam Swagatham amidst the chanting of Vedic hymns by temple priests.
