Hyderabad: A street dog attacked a five-year-old child at Kareemguda, Rampally, Keesara Mandal. The dog attacked the child while he was playing on Wednesday evening. He has been taken to Ankur Hospital Boduppal for treatment.
Both the parents are software professionals. The boy came out to play in the evening on Wednesday and the street dog suddenly attacked the boy and injured him severely on his head and hands.
During the rainy season some dogs behave like mad dogs and there is higher risk of rabies spreading. Achyuth Rao, child activist, said, “It is the responsibility of the Municipal department to prevent this type of menace. We have brought this issue to their notice.”
