Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court has issued notices to the Telangana state government and the Ranga Reddy district collector on a PIL seeking to utilise 16 acres of surplus land situated in Upparapally and Sagbowli villages for public purpose.
Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice J. Uma Devi were dealing with the PIL filed A. Ravi and another person who challenged the proceedings issued by the erstwhile AP government in May 2010 reconveying the urban land ceiling surplus land after taking possession under the Urban Ceiling Act.
