Summer showers to continue in Bengaluru
Bengaluru: Weather in the city continued to be pleasant with many parts of the city witnessing light to heavy rains on Sunday. Indiranagar, Chamarajpet, Attiguppe, Vijayanagar, Malleswaram, M.G. Road, Hosur Road and other parts received light to heavy rains. But rains worsened frothing on Bellandur Lake.
The weatherman said that the maximum and minimum temperature in the city will be 32 and 21.6 degrees Celsius and the city is expected to receive 7.6mm of rain over the next 24 hours. “Generally cloudy sky with rain/thundershowers very likely towards evening/night in some areas.” the IMD said.
Private weather forecaster Skymet Weather predicted that rains in the city will continue and said, “A trough is seen extending from Central India to Rayalaseema. A cyclonic circulation is seen over Comorin and adjoining Tamil Nadu which is likely to bring scattered light to moderate rains over Kerala and South Karnataka regions.”
