Under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s new term, observers say Bihar has become a classic case of chaos. They say that with crime graph rising dangerously, no investment has come to the state.

Mr Kumar had also provoked the Central government with his call for “Sangh Mukt” India.

After the resounding victory of JD(U)-led grand secular alliance in Bihar, Mr Kumar has started projecting himself as the next face for 2019 elections.

BJP leaders, however, are sceptical. “JD(U) is a regional party and every regional leader like him (Mr Kumar) wants to project himself for the post of prime minister. In UP, his party has no presence,” said BJP leader Sushil Kumar.

“In Bihar, law and order system has failed and today the situation is that about a dozen or more legislators have been booked in some case or the other”. The BJP’s Jungle Raj barb grew even stronger after Rocky’s Yadav’s case.
