Visakhapatnam: A sloth bear in search of its lost cub on Saturday attacked four people in 12 hours near Paderu in Visakhapatnam district.
According to Paderu Range Officer S. Gangadhar Rao, the sloth bear ventured on to the village outskirts at Cheekatiputtu and Karakavalasa searching for its lost cub. The angry bear sighted the first unfortunate human there and attacked him. Later on Saturday morning, the bear attacked three more people from behind.
