PM Modi rally attendees returning in bus attacked

Mangaluru: A group of people returning in a bus after attending Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally here were allegedly attacked near Kuthar, about 15 km from Mangaluru on Saturday evening.

Police said the incident happened around 8 pm following an altercation between two groups at Kuthar. As a result one group pelted stone at the bus and the women passengers were allegedly assaulted.

 

An FIR has been registered in connection to the incident.

Police Commissioner said that the incident has been taken seriously and some of the accused have been detained.

The Commissioner along with DCPs visited the spot and collected details. They also assured the group gathered at the station that action would be taken.
