Hyderabad: Dabeerpura police on Wednesday booked a case against Baba Ramdev for hurting religious sentiments. The cops acted on a complaint by a medical student Md Omar against Baba Ramdev’s comment on the “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” issue.
Baba Ramdev had said he would have “beheaded” those who refused to chant “Bharat Mata...” were it not for the law of the land. Mr Omar alleged that it hurt the sentiments of minorities.
