Vijayawada: BJP national spokesperson and Rajya Sabha member G.V.L. Narasimha Rao has said that to gain politically, TD supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu has been spreading lies and falsehood on Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Union Government.
Talking to reporters here on Wednesday, Rao said that Modi government need not protect anyone and the wind is waving against the TD in the state.
He added that Naidu is scared of losing the ensuing polls. He rubbished reports and allegations that Modi Government has been shielding YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. He mocked Mr Naidu by saying that the CBI can be called Chandrababu Bureau of Investigation and only under Modi, CBI could work independently.
He also alleged that Naidu has been indulged in neck deep corruption and is getting ready to buy votes with that corrupt money. He added that only tax evaders and wealthy are getting MP tickets in TD.
He appealed voters not to get lured by the money offered by TD. Rao said that the BJP will announce all its Assembly and Parliament candidates by March 20. He also said that plans are afoot to organise meetings of BJP chief Amit Shah and Narendra Modi in the state as part of its poll campaign.
