Vijayawada: A two-day cultural fest ‘Kalpataru – 2019’ would be held at the SRM University, Amaravati on March 15 and 16.
On this occasion, students of the University will organise a bike rally from Mangalagiri to Neerukonda on March 15.
Renowned Tollywood director K. Raghavender Rao would be the chief guest at the programme, the guests of honour would be Durga temple EO V. Koteswaramma, famous Kuchipudi dancer Deepika Reddy, language and culture department director Dr Vijay Bhaskar, district drug control division assistant director Dr Vijaya Kumar and others.
The centre of attraction of the fest will be renowned Sunbun Musical Night, band Oblast, Western Culture dance by the band ‘Spunk’, Kuchipudi dance performance, fashion show and screening of short films.
