Hyderabad: One dies in Marredpally from aerosol blast

According to the police, the fire broke out in a residential building, owned by MD of Reliance Fire and Safety Limited, Arun Anthony Raj.

Hyderabad: A fire accident occurred in a residential building in Syed Zala Garden, West Marredpally, killing one. Initial investigation has revealed that the blast was reportedly due to a short circuit. The building owners have been booked for causing death due to negligence by the West Marredpally police.

According to the police, the fire broke out in a residential building, owned by MD of Reliance Fire and Safety Limited, Mr Arun Anthony Raj. The family has been in the fire safety business for a long time. They have an industry at Cherlapally. The three-storied building also had a penthouse. Mr Arun Antony Raj used the penthouse as a store room, keeping materials related to his fire extinguishing business, there. One J. Raju, the 30-year-old man, who died in the blast, also lived in the building as a caretaker of the stored material and goods. Raju had migrated to the city from West Godavari district.

Due to the impact of the blast, steel flakes on the roof shattered and fell on the surroundings. One Prasad Rao who was walking on the road was injured when a steel flake fell on him and pierced his hand.
