Tirupati: JEO inspects Pilgrims Amenities Centre works

Tirupati: Tirupati JEO B. Lakshmikantham inspected the Padmavati Pilgrims Amenities Centre (PAC) at Tiruchanoor on Wednesday.

Speaking to media persons later, he said that the new 4.25 lakh sq. feet PAC is coming up in 5.25 acre.

He directed the officials to make amenities for drinking water, Anna Prasadam, rooms with furniture, TTDs publication centre, ATMs, luggage counters, toilets, lockers and security at the PAC.

He also directed the DFO to develop greenery to provide green space to the devotees. TTD plans to run regular RTC buses to Tirumala and set up token counters for Srivari darshan and online facility to book rooms, Mr Lakshmikantham said.

Earlier he went around the PAC and directed the officials to complete all works on war footing and facilitate devotees by appointing necessary staff.

Thereafter, the JEO visited the Sri Padmavati Ammavari temple and had darshan. He inspected the queue lines, anna prasadam, security and others in the temple.
