TCCI plans to develop women as entrepreneurs
Nellore: A senior-level delegation of Telugu Chamber of Commerce & Industry-SC-ST Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (TCCI-SSICCI), headed by its chairman A. David Brainard, visited Sri City on Tuesday.
The visit intended to hold a discussion with founder managing director on developing SC-ST and Women Greenfield and Brownfield entrepreneurs Ravindra Sanna Reddy, in the surrounding mandals of Sri City.
Welcoming the team, Ravindra Sanna Reddy lauded the vision of the TCCI-SSICCI and appreciated their efforts.
He said “I am enthused by your mission to transform the SC-ST and women as job givers and not merely job seekers.”
Thanking the Sri City MD, David Brainard appreciated the voluntary commitment of Sri City and its various industrial units to ensure equal opportunity to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribe communities to grow into entrepreneurs.
They discussed on the tentative action plan that aims at the inclusive growth of SC-ST & Women economically and socially and to groom them into entrepreneurs.
They also discussed on the State & Central Government policies and schemes related to the inclusive growth of SC-ST & Women. They agreed to meet frequently, to transform the plans into actions.
