Vijayawada: AP Congress Committee vice president Mr N. Thulasi Reddy said that the agriculture schemes of BJP, YSR Congress and Telugu Desam were of no use and claimed that only Congress was capable of implementing waiver schemes to farmers. He said that despite the passing of four and a half years, Telugu Desam government had still not waived off the agriculture loans of farmers.
He added that Congress had offered Rs 2 lakh agriculture loan waiver to farmers in its present election manifesto which was far better than the schemes of YSRC, TD and BJP parties. He said that Congress had fulfilled Rs 2 lakh agriculture loan waiver promise after winning the elections in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and the Chhattisgarh which showed the dedication of the Congress.
Mr Reddy said that AICC president Mr Rahul Gandhi will become Prime Minister after 100 days by winning the Parliament elections. Mr Thulasi Reddy said that it was only the Congress that could fulfil '2 lakh loan waiver and appealed to the public to support Congress in the elections.
