Chandrababu Naidu: Kejriwal will be 1,000 times better PM
Vijayawada: After dragging Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s wife Jashodaben into his political discourse, TD supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday raked up the educational qualifications of the Prime Minister.
Speaking at the opposition parties rally organised by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in New Delhi, Mr Naidu said there was a problem with an uneducated person like Modi becoming the Prime Minister.
“Kejriwal is 1,000 times more efficient than Modi. Kejriwal can say where he got his degree, I can say where I got my degree, but the PM can’t,” said Mr Naidu. He said he could proudly say he got a PG degree from SV University.
He added that with limited powers in the Delhi government, Mr Kejriwal had done wonderful work and if he had full powers, he would have done miracles.
He said due to the pressure from Modi, former RBI governor Urjit Patel had resigned and alleged that the Centre was tapping the phones of all opposition leaders.
Mr Naidu raised questions against the BJP amongst others on breaking federalism, invasion of privacy through increased surveillance, denigration and misuse of institutions. He said “I am asking you, are you prepared to defeat this government or not? We are ready. Narendra Modi will be an ex-Prime Minister. Only Modi benefited from demonetisation. If the same man who was in finance ministry and is now in CAG, what better report he will give on Rafale? Where is cooperative federalism? Modi attacks Kejriwal, Mamata and me.”
