Hyderabad: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced datesheets for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams scheduled for 2024. According to the released schedule, the Class 12 exams are set to take place from February 15 to April 2, while Class 10 exams will be held from February 15 to March 13.
To accommodate the vast array of subject combinations and ensure a seamless examination process, the board said it carefully crafted the datesheets, meticulously avoiding any overlap of more than 40,000 subject combinations. This, to prevent any clashes in exam dates for students, offering a smooth and organised testing period.
Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj, in a statement, said that the schedule was prepared to ensure there are sufficient gaps between subjects and they don't clash with competitive exams such as JEE.
Students can access the CBSE Class 10 and 12 date sheets for 2024 through the official website, cbse.gov.in.
In a first, CBSE has declared that, for the 2024 exams, it will refrain from awarding overall divisions, distinctions, or aggregates to students. The board will neither calculate nor disclose the percentage of marks achieved by candidates.
