Traffic curbs near Raj Bhavan
Hyderabad: Additional commissioner, traffic, Anil Kumar has issued a traffic advisory in view of the swearing-in-ceremony of TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao as Chief Minister at 1.30 pm at Raj Bhavan on Thursday.
The Raj Bhavan road from Monappa Island (Rajiv Gandhi statue) to V.V. statue junction will witness heavy traffic due to the event. Traffic congestion is expected from 12 noon to 3 pm.
Depending on the situation, traffic will be diverted or stopped at Monappa Island and V.V. statue junction. Panjagutta. The Raj Bhavan Quarters Road (Metro Residency) will be closed for general traffic on both sides.
The following places have been earmarked for parking at Raj Bhavan:
Gate No III to Administrative Block: Vehicles carryins MPs, new MLAs, MLCs
Dilkusha Guest House: Media vehicles
MMTS parking lot: Vehicles of other VIPs, government dignitaries,
Metro Residency to NASR School: Single line parking
Lake View Guest House to V.V Statue junction (Opposite Lake View Guest House): Single line parking
Mr Anil Kumar requested motorists to take note of these arrangements and take alternative routes to their destinations and avoid the Raj Bhavan road during the specified timings and co-operate with the traffic police.
