Rajeshwar Rao, PV Narsimha Rao's son, passes away
Hyderabad: P.V. Rajeshwar Rao, the second son of former prime minister P.V. Narasimha Rao, died here on Monday evening following multi-organ failure. The 70-year-old former MP from Secunderabad was admitted in a private hospital on December 5 with heart complications and kidney ailment. Later, he developed complications, which led to multi-organ failure and he was declared dead on Monday.
Rajeshwar Rao was elected from the Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency in 1996 defeating the present Union labour minister Bandaru Dattatreya. He was one of the general secretaries of then APCC for some time. He was also a singer and even released a few albums in his name. He survived by his wife, two daughters and one son. The funeral will take place on Tuesday.
