Jana Sena gets an upper hand in flexi row

According to sources, Jana Sena leaders and workers erected flexes in large numbers welcoming their leader Pawan Kalyan.

Kakinada: Jana Sena leaders succeeded in re-erecting their flexis after the Kakinada Municipal Corporation (KMC) personnel removed them on Monday morning.

Tension prevailed for some time and a heated argument ensued between KMC city planning officials and the Jana Sena leaders. Finally, the police intervened and the matter was settled.

According to sources, Jana Sena leaders and workers erected flexes in large numbers welcoming their leader Pawan Kalyan. On the same day on Today, Telugu Desam also arranged an official function to launch Aadarana scheme. The city planning officials removed the flexes of Jana Sena near Kalpana Center where Mr Pawan Kalyan addressed the public. The officials decided to erect the ruling party flexes to publicise the Aadarana scheme-2 and removed the Jana Sena flexes.

As soon as they received the information of removal of flexes, Jana Sena leaders Pantam Venkateswara Rao (Nanaji), Jyothula Venkateswara Rao, S.Rajababu and others rushed to the spot and questioned the City Planner Shaik Kalesh on the act. Meanwhile, the fans of Pawan Kalyan staged dharna and ghoraoe the officials. Mr Kalesh said that the officials programme would be held in Ananda Bharati grounds and to erect the scheme flexes, Jana Sena flexes had to be removed. Heated arguments took place between the officials and the Jana Sena leaders. Mr Nanaji said that when the Jana Sena asked the permission for holding public meeting of Pawan Kalyan at Bhanugudi Center, the police gave permission to them at Kalpana Center. He asked the officials that they should erect the flexes in the center as per the permission given by the police. Meanwhile, the police officials intervened the issue and pacified the officials and the leaders. As per the advice of the police the city planning personnel re-erect the Jana Sena flexes as it is.
