Bengaluru: A second PU student committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Annasandrapalya in Vinayaka Layout on Saturday night.
The deceased has been identified as Marlin Diana (17), daughter of a bus driver with a reputed transportation company.
According to police, Marlin was pursuing second PUC at a college in Indira Nagar. On Saturday at around 10 pm, Marlin as usual ate her dinner and went to her room. A few minutes after she entered her room, she hanged herself from the ceiling.
However, Marlin's parents noticed it within seconds of she hung herself and rushed her to a hospital. But she succumbed on Sunday afternoon.
According to police, the reason for Marlin's suicide was not yet to be ascertained. However, her parents said that she was under stress for the past few days and was keeping quiet. A case has been registered at the HAL police station.
