Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has asked officials to allow people to remit fee for regularisation of government and urban land celing lands in old currency notes till November 14. The Chief Minister held a meeting with finance and revenue officials at his camp office on Saturday to review the progress of regularisation schemes.
The government had issued GO 59 in 2015 for regularisation of government land parcels, and GO 92 for regularisation of land under the urban land ceiling provisions earlier this year. After verification, eligible applicants were issued notices to pay fee for regularisation. However, the payments had come to a halt due to demonetisation, with banks being closed for some days, and the bar on using old notes.
