Telangana: RDSO conducts design tests on metro
The test is carried out by senior officials to ascertain whether the technical designs match with each other.
Hyderabad: The design and weight test was carried out on Thursday on Metro Rail network from Mettuguda to Begumpet. The test was conducted to check the de-sign and to assess the capacity of the train on the viaduct by Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO) under the ministry of railways.
According to sources, as the Ameerpet station works are yet to be completed, the train was stopped at Begumpet and was taken back to Nagole.
The test is carried out by senior officials to ascertain whether the technical designs match with each other.
The RDSO will issue a certificate before the trial runs are started. According to the sour-ces, Ameerpet station works will take another five days to complete. The test started around 1.30 pm.
