Lack of logic breeds graft: IAS officer

We know that snakes and large reptiles do not drink milk and yet we offer it to them during festivals.

Warangal: Caste and corruption are the two primary aspects that are stopping the country from developing, said senior IAS officer and director of state archives department, Akunuri Murali.

Mr Murali was addressing a seminar on ‘role of youth in eradication of corruption’, organised by an NGO Youth for Anti-Corruption at the Pingle Government Girls Degree and PG College in Hanamkonda on Wednesday. “We know that snakes and large reptiles do not drink milk and yet we offer it to them during festivals. There are several such practices in our country that are blindly followed by the people without the questioning them,” he said.
