Hyderabad: New KPHB bus stop springs leak
Hyderabad: The KPHB bus stop built at a cost of Rs 1 crore started leaking water on Tuesday.
The water was apparently leaking in the bus shelters and TSRTC bus counter where computers and other equipment were placed.
The Grade 1 bus shelter is amongst the 826 bus stops being setup in the city. It is the largest shelter spanning 380 feet long and 18 feet wide.
A visitor Durga Darshan wrote about the leakage on twitter and requested the authorities to look into it. Mr. Darshan wrote, “This is how the model drizzling bus-stops have been constructed in KPHB colony inaugurated by beloved Minister K.T. Rama Rao and the mayor on 31st May. Please come and enjoy rain inside the bus stop also (sic).” He requested the authorities to take action and resolve the issue at the earliest.
