Mysuru: People of some villages in Madikeri taluk of Kodagu district on Tuesday claimed that they experienced mild tremors around 7.30 am.
Muthappa, member of Ballamavati gram panchayat, said, mild tremors were felt for 10 seconds around 7.30 am and for eight seconds around 7.45 am. Utensils in his kitchen tumbled off shelves, and tables and cots shook for some time. People panicked and ran out of their houses at Ballamavati .
