Vijayawada: Viswa Seva Parishat Charitable trust has launched meals for Rs 5 in Vijayawada government hospital on Saturday. Trust founder and Chairman Oleti Venugopal said this programme is launched in order to serve patients and their families in government hospitals. He said, “Sambar and curd rice will be provided to 500-700 people daily for '5 per head.”
Astrologer, palmist and numerology expert Mr Venugopal said he had started this programme with the help of friends, well-wishers and relatives. He also mentioned about organizing activities for Health and Education to poor and protecting animals. Hospital committee chairman Mr Umamaheswara Rao launched this programme.
