Chennai: At a time when the two AIADMK factions under Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami and former Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam are bracing for a unification, by isolating T.T.V. Dhinakaran and party’s general secretary V.K. Sasikala, BJP senior and party’s MP Subramanian Swamy claimed that the AIADMK under V.K. Sasikala is “the real one.”
“There is only one AIADMK. And that is under Sasikala. Others are mere individuals with whom you (media) are linking with the party,” Mr
Subramanian Swamy said on Saturday.
Speaking to reporters at the airport here he stated that he had pointed out to this fact to the Governor (in February).
“This has been proved,” he said adding that the Election Commission’s decision not to give the two leaves symbol to the AIADMK is “wrong.”
