Hyderabad: The TS planning department will hold a two day workshop, ‘Bangaru Telangana & Sustainable development goals’ on July 13 and 14 at the MCRHRD institute. NITI Aayog members V.K. Saraswat and Ramesh Chand are among the invitees. Special Chief Secretary, planning, B.P. Acharya said the government had undertaken steps to operationalise Susta-inable Development Goals and the the planning department, the nodal department, had initiated sensitisation of administrative departments.
With the help of NITI Aayog, the TS government will establish an Asian Centre of Excellence on SDGs in the city. The centre will generate and manage knowledge with respect to SDGs, facilitate cross-learning, networking and collaboration among the state governments. The ACES will be opened on Thursday at the MCRHRD institute.
