Alappuzha: A ten-year-old boy who was struck by lightning on May 18 succumbed to injury at Medical College Hospital. Anuraj son of late Jayaraj, Kanichukadu, Punnapra died on Tuesday after 54 day long battle for life.
Anuraj was struck by lightning while he was playing with his friends in the foreyard. He was class IV student at Government High School, Paravoor.
Anuraj had lost his father to a bike accident that took place in Ambalapuzha on December 31 last year. He is survived by his mother Sabitha.
