Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the national chief of the TD entrusted K. Dorababu with the responsibility of overseeing the affairs of the party headquarters in the capital. He did so after failing to convince Anam Ramnarayana Reddy to take on the responsibility.
Mr Dorababu, the former deputy mayor of Visakhapatnam, was considered a trusted associate by former chief minister Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy. He also acted as the election in-charge for Y.S. Vijayamma during the last general elections. However, he left the YSRC and joined the Telugu Desam after falling out with Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Mr Naidu thought that Anam Ramnarayana Reddy, the general secretary of the party, would coordinate activities at the headquarters.
Naidu is all ears for party issues
TD national chief N. Chandrababu Naidu has now turned into a one stop solution for any problem within the party. The latest happenings that are taking place indicate that Naidu is attending issues from small to big in order to prepare the party for the 2019 elections.
Naidu doesn’t want to take any chance that may affect the interests of the party, and hence is attending issues till reaching a conclusion.
In fact, Naidu has been spending a lot of time for the party work since the last two months.
Naidu has been addressing each controversial issue, though there is a possibility that core committee members T.D. Janardhan, V.V.V Chowdary and TD state president Kimidi Kala Venkata Rao are there to address the issues such as group clashes within the party. Somehow every episode is landing before the party national chief.
A Cabinet minister said that Naidu has the biggest responsibility of bringing back Telugu Desam into power in 2019 and appealed to the party seniors to take initiation in addressing small and moderate issues.
