Telangana farmers will cuff KCR, says former MP Ponnam Prabhakar

Khammam: Former MP Ponnam Prabhakar predicted gloomy days ahead for Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and roads and buildings minister Tummala Nageswara Rao.

“The farmers of Telangana will soon handcuff the Chief Minister and Tummala for humiliating the community,” he said, reminding that farmers in the state have been branded rowdies and goons by the government and its ministers. The police, in keeping with the government’s line of thinking, has filed cases against the farmers, and handcuffed them.

Mr Prabhakar said that Mr Nageswara Rao cannot dare visit the Khammam market yard after the ransacking incident.

“These ministers don’t have the courage to face farmers in the district,” he said.
